YHM hand guards for a LR-308 AP4??

I have a DPMS .308 LR-308 AP4. It has the carbine length free float tube forearm that was factory standard. I am interested in a 4 rail system.

Yankee Hill has some carbine length for around $130. Can anyone that has these offer any opinions on them?

Anyone know what YHM charges for installation?

Are you sure they are 308? Im not aware of YHM offering 308 Hg's.

Yes, that page does need updated. I got the Troy MFG 13.8 inch and I like it, I like it aalot. It is light weight and fills good in my hand.

YHM does make free float tubes for .308s, but only in DPMS pattern - and they only make them for Fulton Armory.  If you want one of those tubes, the only choice you have for buying it is through FA.  <thumbsup>

I like my Vtac more than my YHM from Fulton ,but still a nice hand guard.

Got my answer From YHM....

We make no handguards of any type that will fit any .308.

We specialize in the AR15 and only make handguards for them. Try Fulton Armory as they specialize in .308's, and offer handguards for them.

I believe YHM makes the Fulton Armory Handguard  ;D
