NTXshooter
Took her to the range today. Really fun to shoot. Been a long time since I shot a rifle with a peep sight. Still need a lot of practice. Here's my targets. First one is 50 yds including sight in and the second is 100 yds including sight in. mineralman55
Congrats on a great rifle. A true classic. Shoot her for a while before you do anything with it other than give it a good thorough cleaning. If you do let someone "refurbish" it, PM me and I'll let you know who NOT to let touch it. There are a lot of hacks who claim to be experts in Garands. These a$$holes shouldn't be allowed to touch a piece of bar stock much less a Garand. NTXshooter
This is the first 30-06 I've ever owned. I'm a 7 mag man myself. But I really, really like this rifle just the way it is. The only way it is going to refurbished is if something breaks.
