I hear good things about Ballistic Advantage barrels, so I have one on the way. The 18" .308Win Govt Tactical profile. I still can't believe I got one for $144.

Just built one using the BA....I dunno what the deal was but I had to clean the barrel many times to get the crud out of it....good shooter though     Wash

Used one of their 5.56 pencil barrels just recently and it was clean when I got it, they must have missed the cleaning step after the QPQ process on yours.

Can't wait to get back home and see how mine shoots!

Their site says they guarantee sub MOA accuracy so I'm assuming it'll be a decent shooter. On wash's, maybe the guy had to take a restroom break and missed the final cleaning step. I'll let you know if this one's clean

I'm looking at getting one for my 308, how has the barrel turned out? Was it clean when you received it, and most of all is it a shooter?
