So for better or worse here I am <dontknow> But I hunt coyote, deer, and antelope so this will hopefully be a good venture! I had a 6.8 and liked everything but local ammo availability. I just picked up a DPMS LR 308 lower at a gun show with the plan of building it slowly and spreading out the pain of spending so much cash over a reasonable time frame. So much for that idea. I already have an A3 Upper on the way with a free float tube, and a 24" fluted and threaded barrel with a Vortex FH from rguns.com. Just ordered the extension tube, buffer and spring from Midway and put a bid in on a PRS Magpul stock. <thumbsup>Did you get a complete rifle or are you building one?
