New Gas System Length, the Caudle 5

Just ran across this on the new Black Hole Weaponry site, Columbia River Arms now. They say this new gas system length is between pistol and carbine, like things were not confusing enough. They only make it for the 300 BO and 7.62x39;

Looks like its shorter gas tube length then the Pistol length in the photo's of the different gas system lengths . Must be an optical illusion . I don't shoot subs or suppressed , so I can say what will work with he 300BLK in those conditions , all I can say is my 16" with carbine gas system works fine with 110gr. to 150 gr. bullets & I don't have gas tube fires , thats a new one on me .

 Hope it works as advertised for those who have this issue .

They didn't include the new length in the pictures. I doubt gas tube fires would be an issue unless you are running full auto.

I've been thinking about a 300BO build with a 14.5 inch barrel and FH pinned to legal length. Ran across this system as an answer to reliability with both subs and supers but odds are I will just stick with an adjustable block since getting it wrong would be such a hassle, given my track record with correct gas port sizes I'm skeptical of every claim I read!
