dcmacharlie Posted February 8, 2017 Report Posted February 8, 2017 Just received my (blem)complete lower from psa, took about 10 days to get to my ffl, after looking it over ,looks fine, function of trigger and safe fire switch tight but works fine. Question I have to forum is which complete upper from PSA should I get? Gen 2 rifle length, mid length. The weapon system will be used for target practice and hunting pigs, hogs. Please let me know what ya think
Magwa Posted February 8, 2017 Report Posted February 8, 2017 carbine 16 inch barrel will shoot well out to 5 or 600 and will make the gun much lighter which you will appreciate.
survivalshop Posted February 8, 2017 Report Posted February 8, 2017 Keep with the Lowers Manufacturer for the Upper Receiver or an Assembly . PSA has not played well with others from what we have seen , maybe that changed with their Gen. 2 . I would not call it a G2 , as that might confuse it to the Small framed DPMS G2 308AR .
dcmacharlie Posted February 9, 2017 Author Report Posted February 9, 2017 Thank you Magwa, is the carbine the one that has a built in front sight?I like the look of that and you saying it's a little lighter is always a good thing ,I was reading other posts on using PSA G2 lowers and all agree to stay with PSA uppers so that's my plan
dcmacharlie Posted July 18, 2017 Author Report Posted July 18, 2017 Ordered the 18 inch stainless 308 G2 complete upper from PSA, tracking order ,should be here Friday, will let you know form and fit, later will give range report ,I'm excited, own there 223 and real happy with that weapon
