Small schools are definitely the key, and large schools just plain suck.

Don't ever give up fighting for your son, brother.  Ever.  They might tell you some bullshiit - but when they see you're not having it, and you will see this through to the end - they change their tune, usually...  

They're used to dealing with candy-ass pushover parents, that don't really give a shiit...
