98Z5V
Got this elsewhere, Greenwell Armory sent it out today. @Greenwell Armory, fucking stellar job getting the info out. HB7115 is dangerous. It's unreal what the Dems are trying to do here - and it's ALL Dems that brought and support this bill. They basically want to ban all 80% anything, no matter what it is. You can read the text of the bill right here: https://legiscan.com/US/text/HB7115/2017 The really sary part of this is how they're trying to involve the CPSC - Consumer Product Safety Commission - into this bill. THOSE are the fuckers that issue the recalls on the faulty baby strollers, and shiit like that!.. Toasters that will catch your house in fire! WTF are the Dems trying to do here?!... Here's the basic page on this bullshiit- click all those tabs to find out the meat and potatoes. I linked the actual text of it above, in the first link. https://legiscan.com/US/bill/HB7115/2017 Furthermore, IN THIS BILL, they want to ban : the internet advertising of ANY of these things... If you attempt to "violate" their newly proposed law, that want you investigated and charged by the FTC - Federal Trade Commision... You HAVE to be fucking KIDDING ME... Read it - I shiit you not one bit. Edited November 20, 2018 by 98Z5V

Armed Eye Doc
This bill goes beyond 80%. They want to ban "An assault weapon parts kit." You can keep the guns you have. You just can't fix them when parts can no longer be sold.
ARTrooper
Everyone seen Maryland's new "Red Flag Law"? absolutely ridiculous and a violation of several constitutional rights. It has already gotten one man killed for just defending his civil liberties. And as a cop I usually back law enforcement decisions, but this law is so unconstitutional, idk how any officer could enforce it.

That one made big news, too, and nobody batted an eye at it - it's all in how the media played that one out, and buried it, as a news story... Quick. Armed Eye Doc
I'll see if I can find it, but I read a story that Florida has a similar law. Found it http://amp.actionnewsjax.com/news/investigates/action-news-jax-investigates-the-no-guns-list/874220657?__twitter_impression=true Edited November 20, 2018 by Armed Eye Doc

It is a bad law and I don't believe law enforcement has a right to just go taking guns without proof the person is dangerous to themselves or others. If the state is really worries about the person, than a welfare check would happen and crisis intervention should evaluate the subject. I don't think this is about the person though, I think the law makers made this about having an excuse to take weapons from homes. And then once people get used to it, they will take it a step further.

"Let them get used to this, then we do..." That's damn sure what it is, and it's not right, not constitutional, and only legal because they either passed in into law at midnight (a'la New York) or by bullshiit propaganda that let the sheeple vote on it... ARTrooper
Yeah but I think now more than ever, officers need to step up against things that aren't right. we are supposed to investigate, not just take action because we can.
