mrraley Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 So I'm thinking about giving another shot at finishing a few lowers or three. What jig is being recommended? Any particular tools that make things go smoother?
Ravenworks Posted December 29, 2018 Report Posted December 29, 2018 Every thing you need right here, use the jig they sell,it's one of the best on the market. https://www.ceratac.com/default.asp
suzukiray Posted December 29, 2018 Report Posted December 29, 2018 5D Tactical has the best jigs of all the jigs I've bought. And I have 6 or 7 different jigs now.
CRracer912 Posted December 30, 2018 Report Posted December 30, 2018 5D tactical jig pro. Stupid easy and idiot proof. I'm proof!?
CRracer912 Posted December 30, 2018 Report Posted December 30, 2018 And I'll second or third(if Lane was in here), Ceratac is AOK. I've shown my ar308 kit I bought from Ceratac to several, all thought it was much more than it actually was. I haven't busted out scales yet, but it quite a bit lighter than my son's PSA.

panel77 Posted January 11, 2019 Report Posted January 11, 2019 5d, but if you do a few-use your trashed mill and wrap a couple wraps of tape around the pins to rough it out and use up all the rough cutting on your ghetto bit, then remove tape, swap your bit to the new/good one and SLOWLY finish it out to a flawless finish router didnt have the depth of plunge so had to keep slipping the bit down in the tool
lineman1954 Posted January 21, 2019 Report Posted January 21, 2019 hey yall, so I'm thinking of building a hunting ar 308, my question, is there any place that rents these jigs, or any club where a guy can buy then sell a jig when finished to the next guy or gal ?l
