jtallen83 Posted June 10, 2019 Report Posted June 10, 2019 Can't say enough for the quality of this companies tools. I had a set with straight bits when I took a gunsmithing course as a kid, came from Brownells. I recently ran across this set of with allen bits from the same vintage, just as nice as I remembered. Now if I can just find a vintage set with the straight bits again, gonna have to buy new to get the torx version. Don't use straights often but the fit on their bits was so exact you had to work hard to get one to slip if you picked the right size, highly recommend them if you work on any vintage firearms. I have not handled the newer ones but they are still made in the USA and still sold at Brownells; https://www.brownells.com/search/index.htm?k=chapman+screwdriver&ksubmit=y
unforgiven Posted June 10, 2019 Report Posted June 10, 2019 I had a set from my Time with Xerox wish I would have taken care of it.
392heminut Posted June 12, 2019 Report Posted June 12, 2019 I have a set of the straight bits. I no longer have that case though, the Chapman stuff was assimilated into the rest of the bits and drivers in my gunsmith tool chest. Chapman is good stuff!
