Knuckledragger Posted July 23, 2020 Report Posted July 23, 2020 So I’ve got an Aero M5 stripped upper sitting on my shelf that’s just begging to be built into a new gun. I’m curious as to what, if any, lower receivers will fit and function with it, aside from Aero’s. Tried the search function on this one, and came up deuces. I’ve found several different lowers on GunBroker and other sites, but don’t know which play nice and which don’t. Are there viable options for lowers here, or do I just need to pick up another Aero and not bother with the rest?
shooterrex Posted July 23, 2020 Report Posted July 23, 2020 The Bushmaster and Remington lowers CDNNsports.com is selling fit the aero upper I bought. Haven't built anything yet but I did test fit them and they fit fine.

Bear Posted August 12, 2020 Report Posted August 12, 2020 I used one of the 80% Arms Gen 1 lowers. Fits great.
11C1P Posted May 21, 2021 Report Posted May 21, 2021 While I haven't milled out the FCG pocket on my Noreen 308 lower yet, it mated perfectly with my Aero M5 upper.
