HammerDown Posted August 11, 2021 Report Share Posted August 11, 2021 I've been scouring the web for railed handguard options. It looks like I am severely limited with the Armalite 18 TPI barrel nut. The only hand guards I have found currently being produced are Armalite and Sampson. I like the Midwest Industries handguard but, it's no longer on their website. Have you checked with them about any Armalite barrel nuts they have that might work with there M-lok rail? On the SS version the rail would fit either barrel nut. On the SS version the rail would fit either barrel nut. I sent Midwest an email a couple of weeks ago, no response. Called them today and the phone lines were down because of the storm. It looks like Diamondback has one in stock that will work with an Armalite upper receiver. I was so happy to score the Armalite upper back in the day but, now its struggle to get parts for it. The majority of aftermarket parts are for DPMS low profile receivers. This is my only large receiver platform AR. I was going to build another one but went with the 6mm ARC instead.
