So, LPVOs (Low Power Variable Optics).  I'm gonna talk about the 3 different 1-to-10 magnification options you have out there right now, as far as I know.  There might be more - I just haven't seen them yet.

Vortex RAZOR HD Gen III 1~10.

Swampfox Optics 1~10.

Primary Arms 1~10.

In full disclosure, I have the PA 1~10 in hand for a week now, in the BDC variant (there are two, both BDC 5.56/.308 and .mils).

I'm not buying a Vortex Razor HD Gen III 1~10, because that thing is $3599.99 MSRP.  Not going there.  Don't even want to.  Check it, not a typo:

You can eat my ass before I'd buy that scope.  Nope.

Swampfox has a decent one, in the $500 range, but I don't like the reticle.

The Arrowhead 1~10 is the higher line, available in .mils for a red or green reticle, and MSRP is $549.

This is it, if you click the boxes on this link:

Now, the PA is pretty badass - it's already here, in hand.  I picked up the BDC version, for 5.56 and .308.  I'm impressed.  To the point that I'll buy the .mil version shortly.

Here's the PA scope, BDC:

Here's the same scope, in mils -I'm getting one of these, too.

Here's some articles on the LPVOs that go to 10x, from 1x, from Recoil Mag:

This scope that I have in-hand will get tested out in a couple weeks, and I'll report on it.  I have the PA.  I'm interested in seeing how this thing does at distance, under 10 power, and everything else.  We'll run it.

I really like the ELCAN method of switchable magnification vs variable magnification. 3x is cool, and 10x is cool, but I don't have much use for everything in between. Unfortunately those ELCANs weigh a ton and cost even more. I like the idea though. Would be cool if more budget friendly companies would work on something like that.

@JBMatt has the Swampfox 1-10.  I'll let him report on that one.

I haven't picked up the PA .mil 1-10 yet, but I still will.  Cash is King, and when I have the spare cash for it, I'll grab it, and it won't be long from now.  I'm impressed with the BDC version, but I had it on a Grendel, the short Grendel, and just couldn't get my dope on the gun to work with the 5.56/.308 BDC worth a damn.  <<<  That was to be expected, kinda.  I think the .mil version will much better suit that gun.

Once I have it, I'll update this with the info on it.
