JohnVik84
I've looked through all the threads on this topic and still can't figure this out. My gun is bot cycling properly. I put the gas block all the way open and it ejects but does not load the next round. Sometimes it stovepipes, other it won't eject the brass. My build is : aero m5 upper/lower Luth-ar .308 buffer assembly aero nickel BCG wilson combat super sniper fluted 20" barrel SLR sentry adj gas block aero rifle length gas tube. the only thing i can think of is maube the gas tube is too short. Its a rifle length and its the second tube ive tried with no luck.
unforgiven
Gas tube should end close to center of the half moon cut out on the upper receiver. Looks almost an 1" strong.
shooterrex
Define Luth recoil system. Rifle? Carbine? What weight and length buffer? There is a thread called Waterboarding. That is the kind of information we need to help you fix your gun.

Buffer is 5.4oz, rifle length buffer tube, barrel is 20" with rifle length gas system and gas tube is 15.125" in length. After researching all day I found that wilson combat maybe a little off milspec tolerances. I noticed their rifle length gas tubes are 15.5" long so maybe I have to use their gas tube for there barrels. I dunno. I gave it a shot, hopefully it works. unforgiven
Nope I had to expand the picture looks like it's short. The factory Armalite rifle gas tube for a AR10 is 15.5"
shooterrex
Yep Wilson has decided to make up their own lengths on gas tubes. That needs changed out. I'm betting you need to open the gas port in the barrel a few thousandths.
98Z5V
This ^^^, on the gas tube and the gas port diameter. Measure your gas port diameter in the barrel, see what it really is.
