pdc
Which Magpul MIAD grip do you have to use with the MA-10? Do you need that extra $3 spacer? Thanks.
Robocop1051
You can use any of them. The .308 AR differs from their AR15 brethren in the fact that the safety detent and spring are located above (and held in place by) the pistol grip, and not behind the receiver end plate. If you wish to use a Magpul MIAD grip, you will have to be creative about how that spring/detent are installed. Some people have been known to install a set screw behind the spring. Others have created mounts on the MIAD itself to hold the spring in place. As far as the MOE and MOE+ go, I am not sure what modifications (if any) are required before mounting. The Mega Arms MA-Ten does not require a Magpul Grip Wedge
Team Helotes
I used the MIAD and used a dremel to create a pocket to hold the spring in place.
pdc
Good to know gentlemen. Thanks. Looks like I'll be using my Dremel here soon.

Robocop1051
You're right... I got them mixed up. Typing tired again, and didn't bother rereading what I wrote. It's the takesdown spring/detent.
98Z5V
The set screw method is much, much more secure. <thumbsup>
pdc
Bought the grip and there is some fitting required for the larger backstrap. Having to sand a little to get it to fully seat. No worries though. Thanks guys.
