Anyone who has a LR-308B with the 18" bull barrel I really need to know the diameter of the barrel at the muzzle.  I have a LR-308B upper on the way and have a local machinist working on a muzzle brake for me.  Since i dont have the barrel yet in oreder to proceed I really need to know the diameter of the barrel at the muzzle.  The spec on it says .936 at the gas block but i want to double check what it is at the muzzle since most barrels have a slight taper.  Anyone who could grab some calipers and measure their LR-308B would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Thank you so much 392heminut,  That is what I was thinking it would be...seems as though the industry "standard" for the most part is .730"  muzzle for barrels with a .750" gas block and .920" for .936" gas blocks.  I suppose this is to make it easier to slide that gas block all the way on without getting a bunch of scratches on the barrel.  Appreciate the help.

This thread is almost two years old, and the OP hasn't posted anything since this thread. I doubt that he's been back since he got the answer he was looking for.
