Ruck
Howdy all! With so dang many barrel manufacturers out there I'm here looking for your recommendations. The barrel will go on a low profile DPMS LR-308 and I'd like a 22" piece. Primarily this will be for hunting. Thanks a heap!

I had to fix the gas port on mine (I have two of them, two different guns), and after that, they are lights-out accurate as hell. I wouldn't trust anyone else out there making .260 barrels right now. shooterrex Posted yesterday at 04:09 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 04:09 AM They are not 260 but I have 2 Wilson Combat barrels. 6.5 creed moor and 6 ARC. They both shoot great.

Yea that was my first thought, the barrel length. Myself I’d lean to what is in stock. Most hunting is actually humping yourself and the gun to your spot. Not many game animals would notice an 18” barrel vs a 22” one. Lilja has an 18 in stock for a mere $620 :-). https://riflebarrels.com/shop/drop-in-barrels/ar/ar10/260/260-ar10740/
