NightStalker Posted Sunday at 04:14 PM Report Posted Sunday at 04:14 PM Does anyone know where to get an h2 buffer kit for my 308? Everything I’m seeing is way expensive or out of stock.
98Z5V Posted Sunday at 11:49 PM Report Posted Sunday at 11:49 PM I'm sure it's directly related - Tungsten is in very short supply right now...

NightStalker Posted yesterday at 12:36 AM Author Report Posted yesterday at 12:36 AM (edited) It’s a standard 308 carbine buffer. Already have an adjustable gas block bust wanting to tame the recoil a bit more. I had put one in my ar15 and like the results. Also wondering if a heavier spring without changing the buffer would do the same. Edited yesterday at 12:39 AM by NightStalker Added
98Z5V Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM What's the buffer length on what you have now, and what's the internal depth of the receiver extension that's on the gun?
NightStalker Posted yesterday at 04:28 AM Author Report Posted yesterday at 04:28 AM The buffer is 21/2 The spring is 11 1/2 Tube depth is 6 15/16

Totally. Read this: If you haven't already described your entire gun, soup to nuts, then do it. Read this Waterboarding thread. All the numbers are very, very important, if you want a functioning gun, regardless of ammo selection. It makes a difference.
NightStalker Posted 21 hours ago Author Report Posted 21 hours ago Yep that’s why I’m looking for new buffer and spring

This is all easily solvable, man. Fret not. H2 isn't where you'll be, though - you'll be at H3. Edited 13 hours ago by 98Z5V
