blwn99x Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 went to the range today and fired some factory new ammo to start, all worked well and she runs fantastic, i even had some nice flamethrower action with the muzzle brake. i then swith to some seller & bellot suplus ammo, and well i guess its too old. 20% fired first strike, 65% fired on a second hit, and the remaining didnot go off. i believe i have a heavier hammer spring laying around here from my ar15 that might allow me to run the rest of the ammo(i still have 150rnds). other than that, i love it and need to sight the irons in next range trip(she was on the 8" plate at 50yards everytime). thanks to everyone's knowledge and assistance on here :auto: <thumbsup>
98Z5V Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 That sucks about the S&B ammo, man. I have no problems with the .45 ACP, but my buddy hates the .380 through his pistol. I thought it was just the .380 stuff.I'd definitely try it again with the heavier hammer spring. <thumbsup>
blwn99x Posted August 30, 2012 Author Report Posted August 30, 2012 the funny part is i am an ammo deale, i think that is the definition of irony <lmao>, i will am going to try the heavier spring, but first gonna run a few other manufacturer's ammo...
unforgiven Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 That's like the plumber with a clogged drain,or a tinner [me] with no A.C. <lmao> <laughs> lifes funny like that brother. :)
blwn99x Posted September 12, 2012 Author Report Posted September 12, 2012 i posted quickly in the ammo section,but... i went to my private spot this last sunday with some different ammo and i had a very successful range session. i fired 260 ish rounds with ZERO MALFS. I am very happy and she is pretty accurate too. We were shooting at a steel plate 200 yards away. Once i got the sights dialed in(sorta) i hit it every time.
