carbon9 Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 I have one on my build, feels and looks great. Very rigid, easy installation. I chopped about an inch off to make room for an A2 front sight clamped right behind the comp on a 16.75" barrel.

I chopped about an inch off to make room for an A2 front sight clamped right behind the comp on a 16.75" barrel. how did you go about cutting it? i would have to take about 2 1/4" off. i was just looking at these yesterday. after hunting this past week i need to shave some weight and carbon fiber is sexy. only thing im worried about is if i remove the quad rail ive got now is that going to upset the balence
