Mr B
Ive been searching for a new scope for my AR 10, and I see quite a few that I wish I could afford, but I just don`t have $700 - $1000 dollars to buy them. I found a Simmons Predator Quest scope that I like but I want to know from you more experienced guys if this is a decent scope ?.

edgecrusher
It'll be easier to help with a round about budget and maybe what distances you might shoot. Also if you want an adjustable or fixed power.
Mr B
My budget is $300 - $400 dollars, and I would like to be able to shoot out to 500 yards if needed, but regular shooting would be 100 -200 yards. The simmons scope I was looking at is a 6 - 24 x 50mm riflescope
unforgiven
If you'r not pushing out that far brother Redfield's got some decent scopes.Made in the U.S.A. with a great warrenty for a 1" tube.
planeflyer21
+1 on the Redfields! I have a 2-7x33 now on the Freedom Machine (not for long).I have heard many complain that Simmons are hit or miss with quality control. In that price range take a look at the Nikon Buckmaster series. Towards the upper end of your price range you can get very good magnification and a side-adjustable parallax control too. Nikon has great glass...very clear and bright image across their whole production offerings.Jon
