UnlockedShooter1218
Hello All,i am looking to change out the barrel on my LR 308 (dpms upper). i have the 16" barrel with the flash suppressor, but since in live in California......i know, i know, i would like to find out who makes a 16-18" barrel that does not have a threaded end to accept a flash suppressor. Can anyone help me with this? my thanks in advance.
Robocop1051
Are you trying to make a "featureless rifle"?If not, that fact that you have a bullet-button negates the restriction against the deadly flash-hiders. If its because you just don't want one, I can't argue that. Remington (and soon S&W) makes a standard crowned muzzle barrel, sans threads. It's super lightweight too!If you have troubles finding the barrel, you could always remove the evil flash hider and replace it with a thread protector. unforgiven
Slash or Adco will cut off the end and put 11* target crown on. <dontknow>
392heminut
Slash or Adco will cut off the end and put 11* target crown on. <dontknow>If it is right at 16 inches then cutting the threaded portion off may put him under the legal limit Rene. MaDuce
The only benefit from featureless is not needing a tool to release the mags. You still can't use high-caps in it. I'd just stay with the bullet button.
