Got started on the Dura Coating project today.

Took a before pic of the stock, grip, and parts to be painted before sanding.  I have half the handguard and all of the upper receiver to sand, then I'll post pics of that.

The girl has a couple of days off this week for Rodeo.  We'll finish it then, so she knows how to put it together.

After she learns how to finish prepping and spraying.  <thumbsup>

It looks almost black in artificial light, like grape Crush in sunlight (or grape Jolly Ranchers).

Ran out of brake cleaner.

Here's before and after spraying most of the parts.

While the can was out of cleaning fluid, there was plenty of air pressure left...so we hit it with the .68 caliber blowgun dart.  First one went clean through, ripping off the cone.
