survivalshop
I was loading once fired RP 270 brass last night & one of the primers popped out when seating the bullet & I pushed it back in with my finger WTF.I seat all primers with a Lee hand priming tool & didn't feel an easy one .Completely destroyed the Hornady GMX bullet taking it out , saved the powder(IMR 4064 ) & primer.Just never had that happen before( & not a compressed load) . seasprite
Strange you didn't catch it before hand especially since you were able to reseat it with finger pressure. How many loadings on that piece of brass? I want to get a pin gauge to use as go no go for the primer pockets.

NoFail
Yup!! I am lucky if I get 4 loads out of brass before pockets get loose. I learned my lesson when I tried to push it with some loose pockets and I won't so that anymore after I found a primer in my chamber after I took a shot with it. That could have been bad if it found the wrong spot down in there with the trigger. Naw, actually the next round coming in never made it.
