EasyEJL Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 Found some at a decent price, not sure whether they are a good choice or not
Tripledeuce Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 I love the 165's in the 308! Respectfully Terry
EasyEJL Posted April 8, 2013 Author Report Posted April 8, 2013 yeah, I figure i'm trying to do the 165s as my standard, but found the 160 with polymer tip cheap and not sure whether to get them or not.
204 AR Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 Are those the flex tip from Hornady that are made for the 30-30? I wondered how they'd shoot myself.
Dane Armory Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 Get them. At this point in time components dont matter, Take what you can get. I have loaded 125 gr , 150gr , 165gr in 308 and they are all great.
MONTANA308 Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 I would go with Dane on this one I been picking up just about anything I can get my hands on in .224 and .308 cause a loaded bullet no matter what grain it is is better then nothing.
EasyEJL Posted April 8, 2013 Author Report Posted April 8, 2013 yeah, you're right. and the price is good as well, $22/100
