I heard from a friend, who made carbon fiber bbls, that the hornady favtory ammo  was shooting less than .4 from several rifles from the bench at 100.

That was when he and I were discussion the merits of the 260 vs the 6.5 creedmore.

That is the same thing Jense Precision told me when I ordered mine. I can't wait!

Actually, the 6.5 creedmore is based on the 300 savage, with the sholder set back,  Its almost identical to the "old" 6,5 international, that Elgin Gates came up with 30 years ago.

My LR 6.5 is crazy accurate with about everything I've shot through it....copy the recipe on the factory 140 Amax loads and its shoots 1/2 MOA with Amax, 139 Norma's and Lapua Scenar's....even shoots light bullets well,. 95 gr Vmax and 108 gr Scenar's are well under 1 MOA...read that the Creedmoor is easier on brass and you get comparable velocities with less powder compared to 260..don't know that from experience though..could be hearsay ...with a PRS Magpul and an Osprey 6-24 x 50 scope its a heavy beast.but I guess that's the price you pay....not gonna tote it around hunting squirrels anyhow....
