Can someone give me the quick schooling as to what i'll need to do?

A company that i'm helping out here and there with odds and ends happens to manufacture silencers.... and the owner offered me one of their 22lr ones. I've got a Walther P22 that would be perfect for it, but I need to work out what i'll need to do paperwork wise as well so I figured you guys could point me in the right direction. I don't have a gun trust YET, but I have a template that was used in another state and my wife is talking to her attorney friend tonight so I should have it set up shortly.

Well, once it's set up (the trust), all you gotta do is fill out the form 4 and send it off to the ATF (BATFE). Pretty simple. Just get ready for the wait that comes next. As I said in another thread, I'm about to start month 7, on one of my NFA items (1and 2, of 4 that I'm waiting on).

Amending the trust is easy. In my trust you simply add the item and denote the date of amendment in the page where you added the item.
