PIC Request... 15" hand guard with 18.5 (18") barrel

My barrel came today and I took a look at how things will look.  I have the JP clamp low pro gas block with the 12.5" apex hand guard and FA 18.5" barrel.  The gas block is pretty much exposed completely.  I was wondering if I could get some pics of your rifles with the same or similar barrel and your long hand guards.  I think I might want to have the gas block covered by the hand guard.  Im debating sending the 12.5" back for the 15" one.  Thanks guys!

I've got a 20" barrel and 12 inch troy handguard, and I can't recall the brand of gas block but its covered. Just barely, but is covered.

Here's a 21" barrel w/ a 14" rail.

 

 

 

 

 

If I recall correctly FA's 18.5" barrel uses a rifle-length gas system so a 15" rail would extend about 1" past the GB.

Thx guys.  I ordered the 15" handguard and rail from Brownells.  Gonna send the 12.5" back.  The look just kinda bothered me.

I have an 18.5" HBAR and a 15" Apex waiting for a new upper. I was hoping to have all the parts in hand by now.
