gnatshooter Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) Chicago Ban on Gun Sales Within City Struck Down by Judge Bloomberg News Jan 6, 2014http://bloom.bg/1lLibBG "The ordinance, adopted in 2010 after the U.S. Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision invalidated a ban on gun possession within the city, allowed only the transfer of firearms through inheritance, prohibiting even gifts among family members." I can't find the text of the judge's decision online, but here is the complaint filed against the ordinance back in 2010: Benson v. City of Chicago, 10-cv-04184, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois http://bit.ly/KxG2K1 Edited January 7, 2014 by gnatshooter
