Ksgunguy Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 Hi all, so I finished my build and today was the first day I had a chance to shoot it. I only put 8 rounds down range before the rains came. Things I noticed was the first few shots the empty rounds did not eject. So I adjusted the adjustable gas block and the rounds went between the 2:00-4:00 o'clock direction. Some of the casing noted to be slightly bent ( not at the primer side of the case but the other side, the open side where the bullet is seated). I know I need to shot a lot more to get it broken in, but not sure what to expect. Afterwards I cleaned the barrel and dunked my BCG in mobile 1. I also had new magpul 20&10 round magazines so I just filled them up with ammo and hope to get those broken in as well. Suggestions ???. Or do I just keep on keepin on

survivalshop Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 Case mouth indentations happen on some rifles , depends on a couple of factors , some you have no control over & some you don't & may just go away with a higher round count. Just keep shooting & see how she goes .
