Dane Armory Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 I assembled an AR15 this morning with the new evo9 handguard and an Adams Arms pushrod kit. Pretty easy installation took about 45 minutes to do the upper. Only problem was that I could not put the bipod bracket where the customer wanted it. The gasblock mounting screws were in the way. It is a very nice hand guard. +2 . Here are a couple for pics.
unforgiven Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 What do you think a AA retrofit kits for DI rifles ??? I see they have lo pro gas blocks.All piston setups have an adjustable gas blocks correct??? Would you put one on you'r rifle ???
Dane Armory Posted March 29, 2014 Author Report Posted March 29, 2014 This Adams kit had the adjustable gasblock ,the rod , a replacement key. Went together smoothly and quick fit great. Can't say anything bad. Did not shoot it ! Only would buy it if the price was right. I am a DI guy !
Robocop1051 Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 I have both. I never tried to retrofit the key before. I always use the full carrier from Adams arms. In fact, I'm making my pistol with the piston system from Adams arms.
