MOE vs MIAD grip compatibility.

have a LRT 308 and searched around a bit, this is what i found? MOE no, MIAD yes for compatibility w/o Mods?

Either will work just fine.  Do the set screw mod to the rear takedown pin and spring, if your particular lower has it going in from the bottom of the receiver (like a DPMS does).

I am assuming this would involve tapping the hole, shortening spring, and putting in set screw??????

Correct - super easy to do, and it doesn't affect the function afterwards.  <thumbsup>

I assumed that was the process.

I did something similar for an AR15 pistol build.

Will look at doing so on my DPMS!

Once you do that, you'll be able to run the MOE or MIAD without a problem.  <thumbsup>
