No sir. It screwed right to the adapter just like it would on an AR. I can't remember offhand who made this particular adapter. I will say, it makes a difference having that extension in the web of your hand when shooting a bunch! Wish I could be more help. Will try to look at who made it when I get home this weekend! <dontknow>

I second the good review on the Endine! Put one on my 870 as well. Very noticeable difference in the felt recoil. <thumbsup>

Many of the high quality ones attach with glue. Personally, I don't see it as a weak spot. Been running one for years, and believe me.....it aint coming loose without a massive fight! ;)

Much backpedaling going on from Kel Tec right now on when it may actually hit market. Distributors trying to place orders are getting nowhere so far. Much like the 22 magnum pistol they debuted at the SHOT Show two years ago. I'm still waiting!! It does look cool, but may be a ghost! <dontknow>

I have been watching this develop for a few months now. I'm attracted by a 30 caliber bullet that I can fire from my existing platforms and use my vast collection of Pmags with. The deciding factor for me will be availability and cost of factory ammo!!?? <munch>
