shepp
That's sad. I hear a lot of f'ed up stories about where these kids come from, what kind of environment they come from and sometimes it's scary bad. We got 5 of them here of various ages and colors. Sometimes I wonder why they haven't driven my wife batshit crazy yet. A lady my mom worked with fostered many children so did a neighbor growing up, I remember the ones from the neighbor when I was a kid I didn't under stand the level of how fucked up they were due to their up bringing now I understand. The lady that my mom worked with ended up adopting one of the girls they had she was so messed up still bad. Her mom was a drunk the girl has fetal alcohol syndrome and then on top of it was molested as a toddler. At one point they had her and another boy who was also molested and they couldn't even leave them in a room alone it's fucking sick. Hands need to be chopped off and exicutions need to be a month after trial.
shibiwan
We've had our share of f*ed up ones, and I mean REALLY f'ed up, but these behaviors I hear about on the news these days are from "normal" kids (i.e. with parents) and I keep wondering what has changed in our society that's causing this. Obama's fault? <laughs> (I doubt it. :D) Edited May 8, 2014 by shibiwan
planeflyer21
When I was in highschool, we were the typical hooligans of the age…overly loud and obnoxious teens flexing as much muscle as possible without getting our butts stomped. Then one day some 16-year old kid, not from our area, beat the crap out of a cop and knocked him out and threw him in a dumpster. He got caught when he didn't leave the area, because he was looking for combustible material to start the dumpster on fire with the cop inside. Straighted out our whole little group. :bat: Met that dude a decade later, as an inmate closing out his mandatory sentence and getting ready for release back into the public. 392heminut
I can honestly say that sometimes their upbringing has no bearing on how they turn out. I have two stepsons that are only one year apart in age and were raised the same, side by side. One is a US Border Patrol Agent, head varsity wrestling coach, and former Marine and the other is in the New Mexico Corrections system for a few years for larcenies and drug violations. What the hell caused such a radical difference? Damned if I know! <dontknow>
