Where can I find a 18 inch barrel for my .308 AR? <dontknow>

I found it, but it was not much there.  I have a Kaiser and it shoots pretty good and is priced right.  Take a look through the manufactures listing and you should be able to find what you need at various prices. <thumbsup>

Not really. I just need an 18 in barrel w/ a 1:7.5 rifiling twist in a 6.8 or .308 calliber.

Can you even get a 1:7 twist for a 308 ? ?

Why 18 vs 20, coming from someone who had an Armalite 20" cut down to 18".

I'm not a hard data tester, but this past fall when I was out w/ a Guy who loads his own. He lent me his chrono for a few shots and compared to a 20" 308 1:11, using BH 168g BTHP I was at a dead 2600 fps, which is oddly close to the norm for that load out of a 20"

Im not sure I have seen either barrel with those twist rates. What bolt carrier group are you using in the 308?

You would need a full custom barrel made for that twist.

Use your search engine to bring up barrel manufactures for AR's & a bunch will come up .

Email or call them what you want & most will even tell you who to go to for that twist.
