Dane Armory Posted November 9, 2014 Author Report Posted November 9, 2014 Today I installed the Luth AR buttstock on a 308 lower I put together . It fits well and uses a rifle length receiver extension and rifle buffer. Dual adjusting , up on the cheek rest and back on the buttstock pad. Cost was $129 .
Robocop1051 Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 It's about a pound lighter... and you can strip it down from the adjustable parts to be lighter.
Dane Armory Posted November 9, 2014 Author Report Posted November 9, 2014 It's about a pound lighter... and you can strip it down from the adjustable parts to be lighter.about 8 to 9 oz less weight.
D.R.D. Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Which has the wider cheekpiece? It's hard to tell from that photo.
Dane Armory Posted November 9, 2014 Author Report Posted November 9, 2014 Which has the wider cheekpiece? It's hard to tell from that photo.about the same size but the Luth Ar goes a little higher. Adjustment. On PRS is a positive click per segment of rotation. On the Luth Ar its manual , loosen move tighten. PRS is a more solid stronger buttstock. Luth Ar is thinner and ligther. Your choice ~ its $100 less , so its a win either way. I like it. I have not shot with it thou.it feel good against my shoulder. +1
