Hey there, fellow 6.8er, good shootin with the 30HRT! Is that just a 6.8 necked up or am I completely off base?

Why specifically this tool? is there an issue with using others? I called JD and asked them which wrench it used and the (seemingly clueless girl) said "The standard one." Can you orient the rail areas at different positions? I'd like to have a rail at the front of the ff tube for the bipod, and one at the side near the receiver for my brass catcher if possible. The rifle looks great. What length handguard and barrel is that? I'm just getting started on a build and was seriously considering that FF tube. Does it use a standard barrel nut wrench? Do you know if anyone else's rail sections will fit it?

I'm looking to sell or trade my Harris S-25 bipod. This model mounts to a swivel stud, has 3 piece legs, and rotates left or right for shooting on ground that isn't level. A knurled knob can be tightened to keep your rifle from rotating, and it has friction locks on the legs. It is in perfect working order. There was very minor surface rust on some of the knurled areas. It came off with a quick brushing with solvent. I'm looking to sell it for $90 $75 shipped, but I'm open to trades. I'm looking for a 6-9" bipod of similar quality, but other items I'd be willing to trade for are: RRA 2-stage trigger group, .308 or 6.8 reloading equipment/ components, or any combination of cash+ trade. I have a few questions in regards to this build? -Which carriers will be compatible with the JP bolt other than the JP carrier (and also compatible with the dpms upper)? -Users of the TM-10 lower and DPMS upper, how was the fit between the two, and are the pin holes the same size or will I need bushings? -Should I stick with the TM LPK, or are there better options out there? Is it just me, or does it look like there's a bigger than usual gap between the barrel nut and FF tube? I have toe same one on one of my 6.8s and the line is barely noticeable? Good looking build btw! I'm getting started on a build with a DPMS upper. I'm really considering the TM-10 lower, glad to see they fit together. How good is the fit btw? Were any bushings needed for the pin holes on the upper, or are they they the same pin size?

Yeah I read about that, Its not going to be an issue for me because I'm only putting glass on it.

Hey guys- I'm new to the site, but not to ARs and the forum scene. I built my first AR about 2 years ago and BRD ensued! I do my own reloading for a lot of calibers, and I've come up with loads for each of these rifles that print under .6moa. I took the 18" out to 200 and was able to get under .5moa. Here's a couple pics of my two 6.8 builds. 18" Bison SPR 16" ARP SOCOM I recently came across a good deal on this upper: http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/?prod=4775 So I'm going to build an AR in .308. Here's a few of the parts I plan to use. Feel free to give me my input on what will or won't work, and any suggestions that may help: -TM-10 Stripped Lower -Bison armory BRX 18" 1:10" Barrel (I got in on a group buy to get the word out on Bisons introduction to the .308 world) -JD FF Tube -JP Enhanced Bolt (Still need to pick/ find a carrier) -BCM Gunfighter CH Thats my list so far. I'm pretty excited about this project!
