i have two different ones to use ,one has a groove under the ''T'' head and other has no groove ...both work well ,anybody of this groove and use of it ???

it does remove a lot of vibrations and noises ..just drop it ....no loose parts ... -
plus the welding will draw the harding out and make things more brittle .....not worth it ...use of synthetic oil like Mobil 1 will help !

i have one in my repr ...talk about smoother operation ,less vibrations and noise ....NO troubles ,good up-grade -
two tips on this stock ..just get the .70 extension recoil pad ,it just works great ..now stock aluminum end piece helps from damage to the end ...nice for meat tenderizing too !!!

i know this one well ...what really happens is you put two ar in the closet at night ...hear funny sounds at that night ...one of them gets pregnant ...they things are worst than damn rabbits ,so watch out !!!

accuracy is not in part of this ,with iron sights at extended sight radius for accuracy .now with scopes but FPS is the key to range and bucking the wind is .....so a stiffer barrel will do the job better etc look at lowlight's shotting at sniperhind with a 16'' barreled ar-10 config .... -
hate to say this but bump the yardage to 200 yards to each given range so 18'' is the over-all sweet spot ....you can do all of 800 yards easy and push to 1000 with 175 VLD ...of course the scope too

this will effect life of the weapon over all ! di system is not so nice if you port before a curtain point in the pressure crave of the barrel ......so why push a weapon to a early grave and you too!

but the most impact is muzzle devise is tighten and how .....crush washer or shims with 25 foot pounds with rockset ...

save your money -the flat spring used by lwrc is very wide ,the endine hydraulic buffer will not work ...

i was hoping for some review of the vc-1 on a 308 platform ...i used the it on 556 20'' barrel set up ,it works very well ! but 308 is a big ?? thxs
