  1. i'll trade ya straight across <dontknow> couldn't hurt to ask <lmao>.i have looked at your rifle several time and it just makes me want change mine from the ground up.
  2. the slidefire stock actually does work well.i have only used it on a 556 upper.i just put it on my new 6.8 for the quick pic. i have only used it for about 200 rnds.thinking about selling it as i have ready access to several f/a weapons. it is cool and does work as advertised,it just takes a little retraining of instincts to pull weapon into shoulder and push forend out slightly.if i had more time and ammo, shot placement would be as good as m-16 with practice. i even had a sheriff deputy check it out on the range.he thought it was a great idea.
  3. you can keep the maine winters. :) i lived in Laramie,Wyoming off and on through the 80's.there is some cold and windy stuff going on there also.
  4. second from bottom is newest build.not quite 7.62,another 6.8, but hey the 6.8's are for my twins.
  5. move up here to idaho. a little wetter but not many hogs yet.it does get a little cooler here sometimes around 10 below in the winter and around 100 in the summer.it snowed in the foothills outside town here in boise yesterday.you guys are in a drought and we are still getting snow isnt global warming great.

  8. it's been awhile since i have been here on the forum so i thought i would post a pic of the newest addition to the family. the parts are of a new 6.8 i just put together.palmetto state armory upper, saber defense lower, bison armory barrel 16", viking tactics extreme handgaurd.havent had a chance to shoot it yet as my wife has been very ill.hopefully in a few weeks .the other rifles are the same from earlier pics.
  9. nice, if you put a bikini on that,uh nevermind.good job putting together a nice rifle. :-)
  10. nice,nice <thumbsup>
  11. looks like a good idea. i would do some work on the lever to move it a little closer to the stock so it didn't protrude as much.definetly better than carrying a nice HEAVY sand bag :)
  12. ya they love to shoot!!we didnt get to go deer or elk hunting this year because of illness in the family. next year! my boys are 12 year old fraternal twins.they spent their 9th b-day shooting m-16/uzi and an m-2 blowing up a mini van and have been loving it ever since
  13. nice build :-)
  14. armalite has their free float h/g that you can add rail sections to.i know its not exactly what you are looking for. dont know of others.armalite part #s are for the rail sections are10703615for 5"/10703613 for 3"/handgaurd is #10703412. again it wont match up to the top rail.just an idea.
  15. looks good i'll trade ya <dontknow>
  16. dont think the dust cover will fit.to short?
  17. armalite posted on facebook they were going to be doing a limited run "in the near future". when that is is a good question.if i see anything posted i will post it here.
  18. i've heard ga. precision has a great rep. just cant afford the rep. seen pics of their work looks great!!
  19. just a couple pics. ar10 is built on an aero precision lower/armalite 16" upper/sightmark 3-9x40 tactical/midway front sight magpul rear. ar15 is tactical machining lower/stag 3h upper/promag sights/hendsholt 2.5-10 illum r-g mil dot. my boys love them.
  20. i run slash's heavy buffer and spring for an ar10,in my standard six position collapsible stock. took it off one of my ar15's e-mailed slash and had a buffer and spring in three days. i have had no malfunctions at all.he makes a good product and from my understanding if you do run into a problem he will help you through it happily.
  21. i built my ar-10 carbine on a aero precision lower. fit and finish is great. haven't had time to break it in but it's built.they are a bit more expensive than armalite but when i bought mine armaliye were not available.www.7.62sass.com is the best place to get parts for ar-10's in my opinion;if armalite is sold out.
