Whats wrong with a Millett? Im not brand loyal but I am fix to buy a 4-16x50mm TRS-1 Millett Tactical Riflescope Mil-Dot Illuminated Reticle. Also Larue even says they are good scopes. GUys if the Millett scopes are junk let me know before I spend the cash.

Gottcha, and Im sure there are ways to see the difference but the difference in the two are so small that only a very trained person can tell. Or is there an easy way to tell? Also I dont really think I will come up with a good used one so I most likely will be ordering straight from larue here in a few weeks.

Sounds like it is an upper that you have been waiting on. I have been thinking of getting on this upper group list but agine I have no Idea what I would build with it.

The way I understand it , it is a POF upper with all DPMS compatability and the top rails match up to all after market brands.

One of the 2 are going to be my next build , but which should I do. I would like to get some opinions from the guys here who know more than I do. Let me know the do's and donts and the ins and outs of each when giving your opinions.

OK, now in the AAC blackout we can shoot blackout, whisper,fireball, and 300-221 I think its called. If I am wrong please correct me.

Dang I made a BOOBOO, I went on an ordering spreee which was good, but I ordered the wrong size crush washer for my muzzle break. So now I am fixin to order a few parts from YHM and will add it to the list. HAHA I guess I have extras for a new build. I never thought I would wind up with so many extra parts on 2 builds. I guess it has helped when I see a deal on something I grab it even if I dont need it. I should be shooting my AAC within the next 2 weeks.

I did find the hornady 300 whisper ammo, but isnt the Blackout ammo different then whisper ammo?

What sucks is I have not finished my DPMS .308 build or my 300AAC build. The 300 is waiting on a damn rail and barrel nut and the 308 needs a barrel, BCG and CH. My wife just had to have a $800 frenchton 2 days ago while my rifles sit and wait on some loving. She spends my build money so I have to wait, but I still get a boner just holding the UNfinished rifles.... <laughs> I also have another stripped lower and fixin to order a spec 6 POF lower.. in 556 as soon as I get ahold of the guy he has them for 140

I hope I am not going to miss goig with the wilson fluted barrel, but I got my CMMG 16 inch carbine with single rail block and tube for 175 shipped from a mod over on the 300BLK forum I have a brake but I have no idea who makes it or what it is called. I have only seen mine and one other like it so I will see how it does before I get another. I should have a report in the very near future.

I kinda though it would be that way but was not sure. I got the cmmg 16 carbine barrel and I have a nice brake laying around here somewhere. So now I need a nice rail and sites and she will be putting rounds down range.

OK, I got around to getting my maid grip on yesterday ( that I have had sence march ). I did just as stated above. I tapped the hole with a 4-40 tap and used a set screw that was 1/8" by 4-40 and worked perfict. That is good info and should be put in a thread and made a sticky.

Yeah I know. Now if I hadnt check my email today and they shipped it I dont think I could ship it back to them. I hate to say that but if a new part wound up on my door step I would have to keep it. ;D
