  1. Sent. They are 19-rounders.
  2. I have this Troy Single Point BattleSling for sale. It is in perfect shape. I decided that I prefer two point slings instead. Selling for $30 shipped and insured USPS flat rate or $25 FTF in DFW.
  3. I have two Factory DPMS LR-308 Magazines for sale. They are in excellent condition. They both feed and function perfectly. I am asking $50 shipped and insured USPS flat rate to your door or $45 FTF in DFW Tx.
  4. Excellent, Enjoy....
  5. And yet another DFW-ite.. Welcome...
  6. I no longer like FDE, I like Coyote tan now...
  7. Hey Dlancello. I had the same problem. Here it is... Make certain that the full length die is SCREWED down far enough to resize the entire brass case! You may be leaving the bottom just above the case head unsized, which in turn results in the brass being too big to chamber. I learned this the hard way, and had to sell off about 100 pieces of brass because there was about 3/8s of an inch of the brass that was not sized! Screw the die all the way down to the shellplate, then screw it down about another 1/2 turn. Then load a dummy round and attempt to chamber.
  8. For the mythical 'One Gun' Concept per Jeff Cooper. One gun that can do everything well, consistently, and fairly easily in a compact, lightweight platform.
  9. Sad. Me and a co-worker witnessed a guy blow up his gun at a local range. He had too many guns laying out and 'chambered' a .308 round into a rifle chambered in 25.06. The bolt closed and all, but the ensuing explosion showed that he had an ammo mix up. He and his girlfriend walked away though, thankfully, with just cuts and scratches.
  10. I think RRA is so deep into their Gov't contracts that their civie concerns may very well have fallen by the wayside. The whole 'We dont need you; we have our bread and butter contract' attitude. I owned to RRA LAR-8s and promptly sold them both. Good guns, just preferred DPMS instead.
  11. You did the right thing, IMO.
  12. 'Bout the perfect rig. Love the Alumahyde Coyote Tan; I like it much better than their FDE, which is what I used for my AP4.
  13. Thanks Drew.
  14. Zing that looks outstanding! How does it perform with the HK mags?? Feeds fine and everything?
  15. The prev. owner of my AP4 wanted a Low profile GB so he had his 'smith cut off the front sight w/ a Dremel. I want to put a front sight GB back on the rifle. Which one will I need for DPMS AP4 308? Thanks....
  16. So they are moving their facilities? Will prob. hunt down an ORC and do the mods myself. Drew, Is the Bushmaster 308 Aluminum Receiver the same thickness as the DPMS?
  17. I am eagerly awaiting that rifle. I called BMaster and was told that they should start delivering these rifles towards the end of May. Does anyone else here have any other info about this?
  18. Thanks HGunner, I have a coat of AlumaHyde Flat Dark Earth from Brownells as the base. Then, I used the rattlecans of Krylon Camo to do the patterns using a net. I am going to add clear coat to seal the finish. LOVE the BCM Gunfighter handle, BTW. It really simplifies operability. Glad you guys like it.
  19. OK I went ahead and redid my baby, after some deliberation. I am very happy with the way it turned out and I hope you all like it!
  20. Pretty stout rig, my friend. I'll bet it is sub-MOA accurate.
  21. Thanks for the information. <thumbsup>
  22. That's great.. Can you share any of the info on how to do it?
  23. Thanks for that. I have seen that post before and yes, his is very cool! I think I am going to use the same method (broom straw), but different colors. I'll let you know how it turns out.
  24. Well I can certainly respect your opinion Do you have any suggestions as to how I can improve it??
