  1. I've put about 150 miles on the new car, nearly all highway, and the car's computer says I'm averaging 48.8 mpg. I'm really liking this car.
  2. So, what'd you find?
  3. I probably could've bought the wheels for the new Vette but would have to pretend the rest.
  4. Oh, I see we've met before.
  5. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, that's the description of the Mirage I bought.
  6. Went to the Ford and Mitsubishi dealers this morning to check out the Fiesta and Mirage. They've almost exactly the same size, the Ford is better looking, the Mitsubishi is easier to get in and out of. The Ford has much more power but the Mitsubishi gets far better fuel economy. The Mitsubishi is cuter than a speckled pup and is very easy to drive. It has power windows, locks, steering and brakes. Keyless entry w/push button start. Cruise control, cd, mp3, USB port, climate control, Bluetooth, leather wheel and shift knob, alloys and a shiit load more. It's white with black and red interior. One thing for sure, with that 1.2 liter 3 cylinder and CVT transmission it ain't gonna win any street light races. I don't care, i'd rather spend my money on guns than gas. 44MPG!!
  7. I've still got a truck, a Chevy 3500 dualie with a 454. Can only afford to drive it when I have to.
  8. Cadillacs and Volts are way outta my price range.
  9. Now starting to lean toward the Ford Fiesta. I've owned seven Fords in my life, three of them brand new. The Fiesta is bigger, nicer but poorer gas milage than the Mirage. Rated 26/38 and the Mirage is rated 38/44. Over ten years the increased milage will nearly pay for the Mirage. I'm going gp and try out both.
  10. God, those things are expensive!
  11. Just my fat ass. Rode many years ago. Too chicken shiit in my old age now.
  12. That's worth looking into.
  13. I've been looking at the little Chevys and Fords but with equivalent equipment the Chevys and Fords are a lot more expensive than the Mirage. But they are bigger.
  14. Yeah, but you can't buy a new Fusion for under $15,000. And I wear my skirts way too short to get them caught in the pedals.
  15. I'm hoping it'll operate my CMMG .22lr upper. I can afford to shoot that with a HOLY SHIIT lever.
  16. I've put a lot of miles on my 2007 Ford Escape and it's showing the wear. It's in need of several repairs. The AC has quit with a massive leak, the power seat works intermitingly, the windshield washer has quit, I had the windshield replaced 4 years ago and now the windshield frame is begining to rust at the top. With all the repairs done I'd still own a 7 year old car with high milage (I commute 50 miles each way to work). Then there's the gas milage, the V6 Escape gets 21 MPG on the highway. Not very good. The Escape's been a good running car otherwise with a strong, nearly trouble free engine (replaced one fuel injector). I'm wanting an inexpensive gas sipper, cheap to buy, cheap to operate. I want it cheap enough to buy new for cash. $15,000 <. I've been thinking about the new Misubishi Mirage 1.2 liter 3 cylinder sub-compact. An amazing level of equipment for a very small price. Rated at 44 MPG highway, best non-hybrid gas burner milage in America. 10 year/100000 mile warranty. Damn thing's built in Thailand though, THAILAND!? Any thoughts or suggestions will be welcomed, I'm going blind looking at cars on line.
  17. Can't eat it, gotta spend it.
  18. I hadn't read the other thread. I'm in on the group buy if it doesn't take too long.
  19. I'm in on the group buy but my impulsive nature may overcome my patience.
  20. I heard $495.
  21. He hasn't chimed in on this thread yet.
  22. Or louder.
  23. Shibi has a TacCom trigger?
