A few years back I bought a new RIA XT22 .22lr 1911 pistol and it's proven one of my favorites. Shortly after getting it I'd decided to buy the .45ACP parts to convert it because it uses a standard .45ACP Tactical frame. Armscor USA always seemed to be missing some of the parts needed, most notably the slide, until I checked their site again today and saw they had everything in stock, so it's all ordered. Cost too much a la cart ($320) but what the hell. Here's photos of the XT22 .22lr that's the basis of this conversion.

My brother and I shot some 22shorts through the mod 62 awhile ago. It shot like a dream, no malfunctions and we had no trouble hitting the flowers on the weeds in the back field (yes, our weeds are flowering. It's good to live in Florida). Then we gave it a good cleaning. The rifle is in near new condition inside and out. Wish I'd kept it for myself now.
