ya it goes outside but as matt said its probably unmilled. But i've seen this kind of fat upper receiver before...i think its DPMS sportical upper. So if i force those tabs, it'll be bent 90deggres up. haha hell no it went on my 308. its on my AR15pistol

yeppers. i had to make room for the handguards protrusion.i test fitted the barrel nut and handguard together but it was sort of loose. So i'm guessed that that protrusion is need to keep the handguard solidly stable

the upper didnt go quite as planned. Fultun upper was a piece o' shizzle. it was too fat that no decent handguard would fit. I had to dremel quite a bit of amount off to make room for the handguards portusion thing. The portrusion thing is now bent but its holding strong to the upper.

<laughs> <laughs> i shall do that! i had the Lower parts all assembled. I'm supposed to be getting my upper reciever today along with my optic and battlecomp. I'm so hyped i cant wait to get off work. this is gonna be one long day of wait!

<laughs> sorry guys im sucha a big sucker for BCE so i ordered 1.0 for my pistol build. . <laughs> <laughs> <laughs> . The pig would not look right on my build because it wouldn't be hidden inside the handguard. Same story with the Levang. anyway the rest of my parts should be here by thursday the 20th! i don't know if should start assembling it up to get it ready for the 21st. OR, pack it all up and wrap it so i'll have something to unwrap for christmas. what would ya'lls do?

CTD is just another scumbag company, period. They're like Discount Gun Sales. They use their misleading name to lure people in then rip them off like tourists. Only bought once or twice from CTD when i just got started with firearms a year ago. they even charge you insane price for shipping which they also make few bucks out of by the way. disgusting >:(

ar15 upper reciever, BCG, and castle nut! ETA 6 days :O !!!!!!!!!!

actually i have a BCv1.0 on my 16" AR hahahah i could take taht off and try it out on the pistol before i buy another BC v1.0 i wish they'd make BCv2.0 in matte stainless..... for the KX3, i'll see if i can find a local who's willing to let me try one. But chances are i'll end up getting BC.

oh haroo fellas! i decided to put me together an AR pistol. i'm stuck between two muzzle device though. Noveske Pigsnout KX3 versus Battlecomp. If i go with battlecomp, would my pistol be quite louder? ar pistol will be 10.5" if i can choose one i will go with battlecomp because i absolutely love them. not really a big pigsnout fan.

hehe oh man you don't know how anxious i am to get this build up and running. I already got the Lower and barrel from my favorite local AR store. Getting the handguard and probably the rest of stuff this Friday. hallelujah early holiday bonus! Buuuut i think i'll wait for the ASA upper or LAR upper. Chances are i'll go ASA upper. But we'll see how far my patience can take me. I mean if i dont decide to wait 6 weeks. i can always buy the upper and use it for another build hehe

LAR OPS backoprdered 6Weeks ASA upper backordered until MidDecember or later to wait or to go with Fulton armoury right hand charge right hand eject?

OH harroooo! so last year i did a 308ar for my year end build. This year, I'm planning to build a side charging AR15 pistol... Left Hand charge(preferably) and Right hand eject one thing i need help with is finding the right side charging upper reciever. So i far i have found 4 diffirent side charging uppers: ASA (i heard they're an unreliable company. but the upper has the features i'm looking for and its decently priced). LH charge/RH eject LAR OPS-4 (no dust cover but i love its appearance). LH charge/RH eject Mega (hard to find right now.) RH charge/RH eject JP (super expensively unaffordable so i pretty much don't care about this upper) What i have planned right now for the base parts the following: upper: LAR Grizzly OPS4 left Hand Charge with BCG RA 10.5" ultramatch carbine system BCE 1.5(or 2.0) SAMSON 9" freefloat handguard (mid-length) lower: MEGA GTR3s DPMS LPK Wilson Combat single stage trigger Phase 5 pistol stock assembly please let me know if you guys have any comments for parts Especially the upper reciever. I'm still waiting to hear from LAR if they have the LH charge upper in stock

i managed to snag one of the first 300. Went to the store to pick it and they said they oversold and they don't have any instore :O! I told them i paid for it and i was just notified that it was ready for pick up(a couple of days after buying it online)... blah blah blah i was ready to leave the store empty handed but one of the associates phoned John the man. Apparently John stashed a couple of the Raptors somewhere in the store for a couple of local costumer. They spent like 15minutes in the backroom hunting down John's stash lol. i went home with a big arse grin on ma face along with my sweet sweet $$60 raptor.
