Had a XD 45 years ago. Didn't like the trigger pull. Never could quite get used to it. Would double tap. When trying to reset the trigger. Nice gun. Just didn't like it for me. Wouldn't mind checking out the new XDM45 and see how it feels though. I would recommend it as a good quality pistol even though I no longer own one.

Thinking I might go for a 50 rd drum for my ar308 and see what kind of fun that is.

Use punch and hammer and drive them out from the left side of the sight. Make sure you support the barrel to let the pins fall free.

Got him the long range nerf darts. Think they count. The do sting a bit at close range.

Thanks. He's almost three now. Just a few more years and I got me a shooting buddy. Got him on nerf guns right now.

I've had similar results from my AP4. Have you put a Slashes heavy buffer in it? Defiantly tames the recoil. I went with the heaviest buffer he had. -
Don't have a link but absolutely love the heavy buffers from Slash. Took the recoil impulse of my AP4 down to almost 556 levels. It sold my buddy on wanting an AR308. Finding it hard to have the ar15 as my go to gun now. I highly recommend. Well worth what i paid for it.

Its kinda tempting to get a slide fire and try it. Just in semi auto it tanned up the barrel from the heat. Nice pistol. Still have not gotten any pics to my computer to post.

I think I am jealous. The local gun shop got a semi auto tompson in according to a buddy of mine. Thinking of trading a couple guns off and the tompson would be a fun choice.

Got to make it out shooting this afternoon. Decided to take the beta for the 556 for fun. WHAT A BLAST!!! <thumbsup> the tip of my trigger finger was numb for an hour from working the trigger as fast as I could. Who else here has had the chance to dump a 100 rd drum??

Could also be the upgraded extractor spring. If its to stiff it will increase the wear on the extractor during cycle. Just my .02.

Still on the fence with a fifty. Its gotta be heavy as all heck. Indo like the skelitonized on that raineer has. Would look nice at the range bloing off 25 buck in ammo it holds. Might get one if I catch them in stock to thumb my nose at the anti-gunners some more.
