  1. I didnt get a chance to go by my local gun shops today after work :-[ but they been selling really good for a month or so. I just ordered parts, mags, and ammo <thumbsup>. I'm ok with my arms for now. Just wanna keep them running. ;D Just remember spare parts. Just my thoughts.
  2. Awesome paint job. One of the best I've seen.
  3. Best I've seen in my area was 24.99 at cabelas. I'll check out PSA though.
  4. No problems with either yet.
  5. I got an AP4, scope, mount, trigger, new free float rail and magpul furnature for under 2k (had the trigger for another build). Accurate and reliable so far. If your happy with your gun thats all that matters.
  6. I'd like to be the first kid on my block to have one but did that with a 100 rd beta mag for my ar15. If i had an ar308 i planned to use in a static position i'd get a couple but thats not in the works. Would like to know how good they are in case i change my mind though.
  7. I'd love to get one but for the price i'll camouflage the safe I want and be fire proof. It is awesome though.
  8. There is something in life other than shooting and building guns???????? :o?????? I work 60-70 hours a week (mon - fri) and have another 15-20 (sat - sun) on the honey do list a week. I find a little time once in a while to work on guns and shoot. Not much time for anything else for me. :(
  9. It's refreshing to see the heart of the American soldier in these younger generations. IMHO these men are just as important as any spec ops boys. And just to avoid any confusion I am a 13 year vet of the Army and have been to the Tomb during training in the mid 90s. It means more to me now than it did back then to see these men at their post.
  10. Thanks. Now I got another rifle I want to get <lmao>
  11. I have Gerbers and leathermans. Gerbers a general use. Have a leatherman MUT but just ordered a OHT to try for general use. I dumped the NRA when i got renewal papers after renewing two months prior. Got tired of being bassled for money. >:(
  12. Just back ordered 600 rds of american eagle 150 gr fmj from cabelas. All my other orders are in i just need to start getting some time to get parts swapped out.
  13. Have to try the nufinish idea. Thanks.
  14. Thanks for asking about the wrench. I've got a TRX for my AP4 coming and this just kept me from buying a troy wrench since i have a GI barrel wrench already.
  15. Just curious but why isn't anyone just using a tumbler to clean their brass??
  16. Interesting test. Be even more interesting to see now with a mini 14 and some of the 308 platforms. Over all it was cool to see the rifle held up to the test so well
  17. Thanks. I'm in too.
  18. Like all good addicts I,ve now got a new firing pin for rem 700 and some tools for the bolt coming now <thumbsup>. Is there a support group for me out there???? <lmao>
  19. Mine has to be Jason X.
  20. Wanted to add to my collection. Currently loving my decision.
  21. Heavy buffer and spring for my AP4. Recoil wasnt to bad during first range time with it but after reading on here about them being over gassed i figured I'd get one to ease the wear and tear on it.
  22. I have tritiums sights on several of my guns for low light / night time use if needed. I like them Meprolite make some nice bright sights. Have a set of trijicons and they dont seem to be as bright but are still nice to have.
  23. That was sarcasm. I grew up northern cali. I know what the fire power is needed for.
  24. I didn't know hunters and fisherman in Ca. Were so dangerious to warrant this kind of fire power. I'm also jealous of the nice paint job.
