  10. Thead your muzzle then spend anothher hundred on a brake or comp.
  11. Buy whatever you can get your hands on. Use it and make you own opinions ! Win , Fed , LC , SSA , Rem are all good and have good point and bad points. What runs well in one persons rifle might not in yours. You must experiment and find out what is good for you. You may like brass from Poon Sang. Or Turkey. Try to pick up some 1X brass and learn trimming and case prep before you drop a lot of money on new brass. Get a system down then follow it ! Baby steps.
  12. What happened to letting Bubba help you ?? Please start with starter loads , shoot them ... move up a grain ... shoot that load. Repeat. The loads I posted I worked up to... Hell , I even did the Ladder Method !
  13. Lake City has several different head stamps per caliber on their brass. I have seen a listing of the head stamps before , didn't save it.
  14. Listen for a CRUNCH ! Rod or Stick powders will be the type to have a compress load. Ball and Flake powders are not likely to have compressed loads.
  15. Here is a couple things to look at . 1. Check the gas block to see if it is loose. Or The end of the gas tube seating into the bolt carrier. 2. Check the gas rings in the bolt carrier, look for lube. If the lube did not penetrate that could cause some problems. 3. Check for contact on the bolt catch, look for metal contact, wear. As said above try heavier ammo next time. Good Luck.
  16. Old but funny vid ! I like the line " Daddy says... You can never have too many Bi-Pods !" Hear that R2.
  17. If we had one of " THOSE " type of outings, we could have stories like... Remember that one time at 308 camp... "Rock Candy"

  23. I use Prvi bullets I get at Dillion's the 69gr 223 and the. 168gr 308 bullets. They work great. PPU is one of my favorite plinker rounds and the brass is very good for reloading. No problems yet. Jon's primer jamb was weird ,the primer jumped up to the track in the upper receiver where the charging handle slides.
  24. S Same symptoms as Yellow Fever !
