I finely had to change out the ser spring. It started to crack a couple of months ago. Other than that she is all original. Like I said I finely retired it two weeks ago when I got a new hip holster for my Sig P220-45. Wolf

I just retired my 1917 production model of 1911. My Grandfather was issued it in 1918. My mother retrieved it from her brothers when he died in 1968. I started carrying it as my duty weapon in 1978. Wolf

I had the same problem with my LR308A2 carbine I built. To solve my problem we chucked the buffer up in a lath and cut a shallow step around the face of the buffer. The step allowed the buffer to travel just forward enough to touch the BCG. Your BCG wants to push the buffer back into the buffer tub when you close the upper and lower. The only time the buffer rest againts the retainer pin is when you open the upper. We found that the buffer retainer detent wasn’t in the right place. It was holding the buffer to fore back, not letting it rest against the BCG. Wolf

I just got off the phone HP Help. The problem is on yals side. I used to be able to copy and past. Then it quit working. The word icon in the top of the reply page. So what did 308.com do? Wolf

This is the only site that I can't copy and past too. I can copy and past to FAL Files, Bayou Shooters, LOCAL and other sites I frequent.

I don't know what y'all call a left hand charging handle, but this is a true left hand charging handle. I have a stroke and my left hand is useless so I use a left handed charging handle. I grip it with my right hand like you would a M14. So shut the fxxk up about ambi's, I cannot use one I cannot gripe the regular charging handle anymore. My left hand is dead period.

I am right handed anyway. I use a Lefty as a regular bolt handle. A left hand charging handle puts the handle on the right of the weapon like a normal rifle, M14, M1 Carbine Mini 14, AK47 an so on. Wolf

I wish someone would make a true Left handed charging handle for the LR308 like they do for the AR15's. Wolf

All three pictures are of the same Wolf, His name was Boo. No Dog there, he was a pure Wolf, but not pure single sub spices. He was cross between BC (British Colombian) and Else Meir Island Timber. The first picture was taken when he was around 3 months old. He was going through his first shed when the second picture was taken at about sex months old. This will be the first time to use a AR308, but I will be using CBC 168g HPBT’s in it though. The last time I used a 30cal. (3030) I lost my dear. Ever sense I have used 44 (444), 45 (4570) and have never lost anything with them. Now I’m back to a 30cal. (308). But if I can keep my shots small it won’t have head left. But if I decide to use commercial ammo it will probably be Win 150g Silver Tips.

When I get it I'll be letting everybody know what I think of it.

Born 1952, I’ve been there, done that and am willing to try and do it again. Like someone earlier said I’m also new to the AR’s panama. After I left Nam I didn’t want anything to do with a those pieces of junk or the 5.56 round. I still like my mans rifle (M14) in 7.62.
