Why dont we have a place here for veterans to hang out? I am, unfortunately for me, not one, but I think it would be a nice addition. We would all be able to read it of course but restrict posts to vets. Thoughts? Or maybe an LE section? Thoughts?

Mine came with a little card saying not to run magtec ammo but I already had 1000 rounds of it the basement so I gave it a try. I had feed issues with every brand of ammo I ran so I sent it for warranty work and it now eats everything I try to feed it. I also bought a cheap mid length quad rail and took a grinder to the backside (towards shooter) until it fit. I have since spend the cash on an rra free floatrail system and low pro gas block. Save your pennies and buy rra first. Well worth it, mine shoots sub moa at 100yrd with 20 dollar american eagle m1a ammo. Pics on another thread to prove it.

I agree. Tragic accident that could have or should have been avoided. That poor girl will most likely be haunted by this for the rest of her life. Blame is on the parents but what kind of instructor flips it to full auto after a child only fire one round??? Then doesn't stand behind and brace the child??? My prayers are with her.

I had somes friends over to shoot this weekend, all of them lined up with their various black rifles and comenced the glorious expenditure of ammunition. I felt a certain pride stepping up to the line and banging out a quick twenty when everybody just stopped and looked. "Damn bro" "you can just feel that thing going off" "wanna trade?" Were some of the comments. It feels good having, and shooting well, a weapon platform that commands that kind of respect from shooters far more experienced than myself.

I wonder how many millions they spent to come up with faded friggin multicam. It looks like it might be pretty effective, but come on.

I now realize I should have scrolled a little futher and put this in the training section, sorry. 88 tactical's training is all progressive. It starts at basic handgun that can be bypassed if you are a ccw holder, then goes to combat medicine the to tactical run n gun and house clearing stuff. I'm excited to do it cuz medical histoy kept me from joining up when I was young.
