The book may have caused a couple of drops of some strange fluid to excret from my ocular cavities but the movie wasn't as good. Im working on my friends mka 1919, one of those shoguns that look like an ar. He chose red burl wood. I only have the fore end done so far. The "lower" is base coated and ready to dip. You can see little voids near the ribs that will be touched up before clear coat.

I stopped using google and deleted my Facebook the day after POTUS got re elected. I don't mind bing so much, its better than yahoo. I don't be grudge Google for their opinion, no matter how bass ackwards I think it is. They have a right to run their company however they choose, I just don't like the amount of data they collect and who they share it with.

So recently I found out that Gun Site offers a five day 30 cal battle rifle course. I would love to go but it's a grand for the course plus you gotta bring a thousand rounds of ammo. Tack on travel costs and week away from work and the idea, for me, has to be moved out to the five year goal section of day dream land. Has anybody been to this or anything similar? 88 Tactical here in Nebraska has cool course offerings that are a little more affordable, I hope to attend some next year.

Hmmmm. No to glow in the dark paint, the sights on my last sa (series 70, gi with a custom trigger serial number said it was new in 87) ((best, most accurate (((for me))) handgun I've ever shot)) had a white line out linning the rear notch and a red front post. I tryed to paint that on Harriet' s rear sight but the ridges make that improbable for my skill. I could take dremel to her but it wout still a be black on black sight picture, :-/ so it's new sights for me. Wish they didn't cost 80+ bucks.

I never got to serve, medical history kept me out, so I'm mot sure my opinion matters but this guy makes me effing sick.

Sweet! I asked my roomate to make me that exact same thing a year ago for my shotgun and my paracord bundle is still sitting on his dresser.

Front and rear, I would like something more rounded and with the three dots. I've found the dots really help me get the proper sight alignment quickly when coming from concealment. I think kensight has some good options but nothing quite round enough that will fit the RO. Any recommendations?

Thanks, micro. I'm a pretty large dude, sketch so the size and weight of a full size 1911 is really no biggie for me. But I can totally understand that not everybody wants to, or can, walk around with a slab side and two extra mags dragging them down.

Ive been carrying springfield 1911's for years and always with wilson combat mags. I was very happy untill I found that my new range officer does not reliably lock open on an empty wilson. I thought there was something wrong with the gun so I sent it in for warranty work, but it just doesn't like wilsons. What the next best 8rd extended base plate 1911 mag out there? Thanks in advance.

This is my carry gun, Harriet. Just a stock range officer, I'm going to replace the sights though. The big square rear sight tends to grab my skin when racking and is a pain to get out from under a shirt in a hurry.
